ONE Lowell works with newcomer communities to register qualified voters and increase awareness about the traditions of democracy in America. The organization also works with local, state and national organizations to increase awareness about policies and legislation that affect newcomer populations.

Advocating for the rights of immigrants and refugees takes time and resources. Often this type of work is not funded by government agencies and few private foundations make advocacy a priority in their funding.
